What's your background?
After finishing my bachaelor studies at the University of Regensburg (Germany), I decided to gather some work experience before starting my Master Degree. I worked for an American Real Estate development company in Munich for 6 months in the investments department. There I was responsible for market- and geographical analysis, due diligence questionnaires and research on potential institutional investors.
Why did you decide to join CoStar?
I have always wanted to work in an international company where people work with passion and commitment and where being colleagues means more than just sharing an office!
At CoStar I can leverage my knowledge as well as broadening my horizon, in a young and international team.
What's the highlight of your experience to date?
The internship has given me the opportunity to work in different departments of CoStar. On the one hand I've worked in the European property and portfolio research team and on the other I ended up supporting other teams as well i.e. the UK researchers and even the Marketing team. That gave me the chance to experience a variety of roles, which will definitely help me find out where my true interests lie.
