A Day in The Life:
Quality Assurance Analyst
What is your job about?
I'm a Quality Assurance Analyst. Our Researchers track the commercial property market for new available listings, deals and building information and my job is to check that this information is of the highest standard of accuracy and completeness. I check data with clients and gather feedback about the products. I spend time coaching and giving feedback to our Researchers about how we can improve the level of detail and accuracy. I also have meetings with the Research Managers to provide trends and further advice.
What does your typical day look like?
I'm usually in before nine so that I can check emails and catch up with friends throughout the office. Our team starts the day with a "buzz meeting" to ensure that we know the priorities for the day. My general tasks are listening to researcher's calls, evaluating the call, completing audits and providing coaching and feedback. I also complete independent data checks and look at producing trends which will be used by managers.
What is the most challenging aspect of your job?
It's keeping up with changes. Our company is constantly growing and striving to be innovative, so systems change, more people are recruited and new products are released. We have a great training department though who provides us with the tools & skills needed to work in a fast paced environment.
And the best part?
I enjoy hearing back from clients that have used our information to complete deals - any positive feedback is great to hear. It's also satisfying to know that you have helped Researchers improve the quality and depth of the data. Personally I love working for a company that offers such a wide range of opportunities from the career path to exchange programmes.
