What's your background?
I've been a real estate analyst at CoStar for nearly a year now, although I've been involved in the industry for around four years. During that time, I've completed a masters degree in Real Estate Finance and Investment at Reading University.
Why did you decide to join CoStar?
After graduating, I joined Property and Portfolio Research as a real estate analyst in their European team, based in London. PPR became part of the CoStar Group in 2009. This has already led to a number of exciting opportunities. Being able to work with people with a wide range of expertise on new projects has been particularly enjoyable.
What's the highlight of your experience to date?
CoStar is a progressive company and actively encourages innovation. This provides an ideal environment for new research and new ways of thinking. I've been fortunate to get some of my research into trade publications, had the opportunity to work with clients across Europe and present at conferences, both in the UK and the US. Mine is a challenging role that comes with a lot of responsibility but I get a lot of support from an experienced team and through training programmes.
