A Day in The Life:
Account Manager
What is your job about?
New sales and managing existing clients
What does your typical day look like?
I'm on the road between 7am – 8am (depending where in my territory I'm off to!). I will usually have 3 -5 meetings, some new business meetings and some client management meetings. Whilst driving (on hands free, of course) I will make follow-up calls, chase up contracts, chat to my researchers and make new appointments. I get back to my home office any time after 4pm, I then need to email proposals, meeting follow-ups, update Prime Time and then prep for the next day's meetings... And the cycle continues!
What is the most challenging aspect of your job?
I cover a large territory, so managing my time efficiently is crucial!
And the best part?
Tasking a new sale!
What advice would you give to someone who is interested in working as a Real Estate Analyst?
With tenacity, determination (and a tiny bit of luck) you'll succeed! Even the best have bad months; learn to accept the highs and lows of sales and just keep pushing forward!
